O-Like blu-ray driver problem

just arrived the driver from o-like. connected to diode an 3,7v li battery. a nice smoke exited from the module and no light from diode.
someone got this problem?

instead of hooking these straight up to a diode... why wouldn't you first do a dummy load?

i didn't hook it up to the diode.this happend when i was trying to set the current.i attach 4.5 volts and the driver fried up instand.

with or without a load attached ?

Some types of boost drivers fry, if you power them up without a load attached.

mine fried with diode attached :mad:. nothing happened to diode.
