These are likely the strongest blue laser diodes yet, need to get lasertree to re-can some for us.

5.4W @ only 3.0A

Wonder what these can do pulsed. Was there not a 7-8W Num44 a while back? What I do like is the divergence. That looks great. What is a negative divergence Or even zero divergence. AnywY looks really good for graphics. Thanks for posting

Yea because they are GBall cans they measure the divergence with the GBall can intact, the raw divergence is very likely the same as a NUBM44 or any of the NUBM08/0A/0E when de-canned, but I always use c-lens correction on mine, also they would be good for home CNC with FAC enhancement.

I got one it seems to run cooler than a 7.5w diode that I have. Is more efficient when compared to NUBM44-V2. Divergance is huge but a G2 seems to focus it pretty well at close range. I got 8.08W with G2 lens at 5.1A / 4.91V input power was 25W. I don't have a professional LPM so take this numbers with a grain of salt. From visual inspection color shifted 460nm+ at around 4A

I had uploaded pictures before. Nothing complicated to do. Nothing needs to be done manually. Just a slight redesign of the box. All 15 pcs will be will be placed in a beach resort and will be directed upwards. So they will glow for about 6 hours.

I noticed your hosts are fan cooled. Does putting them in plastic boxes decrease the cooling effect? What I did was to add another fan and input and output ports for air when I put lasers I boxes.

Probably yes, but I was doing a test at an outside temperature of 22 degrees, the host kept about 45 degrees at 3.5A current. They have thermal protection so it cannot overheat. If for some reason it exceeds 70 degrees, the circuit will break for a while

That's what I needed to know, the color shift. Thank you. How pure is the wavelength below 4amps?

Some diodes are brighter than others for the same current 3.7А

Very interesting, you ever think about using spinning mirrors or X and Y galvos to make laser show boxes ?
