Non-circle dot with green laser

Hello guys, I've just received my replaced rayfoss laser and for some reason the dot is not in a circle shape, but looks like a rectangle instead. This is even more obvious when the lens it not focused and set to maximum divergence. Does anyone know if this is normal behavior? Let me just make it clear that it has been stuck in this "mode" since I received it and never had a perfect circle shaped dot. Any ideas?

check in the specs of your laser if his emission mode is TEM00 and if it is, send it back in warranty.

Damn, I have just received this laser, which is a replacement to the older one that was mode hopping. The last thing I want is to send it back for replacement again because of the cost of shipment and taxes. My experience with Rayfoss has not been satisfactory at all and I will never consider buying cheap lasers anymore...

the dot looks like a square when the laser is too hot or cold?

The dot ALWAYS looks like a rectangle regardless of cold or hot.
