Yes the Spynet NVB looks quite interesting 2, actually i read some positive reviews on night vision forums about this one. I'm not really sure that you can see true clothes with it. ;)

Oh you can... there was this jogger running past my house in the evening while I was using them, and I could see her bra almost as clearly as if she was wearing it on top of her shirt...
 
i got one, just like a generic, no night vision or anything special, at dx for $6

Is that the same (or similar) as these binocs from Walmart for $49.97? They look the same, but can't really tell due to the differing angles on product pages.

Hmmm, I suppose they can see through clothes depending on how "hot" the person is, haha :p

That's the exact same one, I got them from Walmart, but linked to thinkgeek because they give a good explanation.

Don't you guys know anything about night vision? There are different ways to see at night. 1. is to amplify any existing light and 2. is to use infrared light.

The cheaper systems use infrared light and the more expensive ones amplify light.

There are 4 generations. 1 isn't as powerful while 4 is the best out there so far. You can get gen 1 pretty cheap but 2-4 is expensive as hell.
