Diode: Lite-On SF-BW512L 12x diode

Lense: Aixiz Glass 405nm lense.

Host: New Style Dorcy Jr.

Heat sink: Made by Ehgemus..Very nice work May I add. My costum glowing front aperture and with the GITD dust cover the front looks SCHWEET!

I powered it up with a Duracell cr123 3.0 primary.

This little beaut is pushing 600mW @ 415mA with aixiz glass 405nm lense.

12x Build always impress me. I would say that the lens is dirty but that is pretty "gnarly" looking imperfection so I'm not sure......but Impressive build none the less

That almost looks like TEM01.. perhaps your diode got hit by static or something during your build?

Just curious is the heatsink Aluminum or Copper? How quickly does it heat up?

Im planning on building myself 12x blu-ray and looking for a good host :) that will allow me long duty cycles :)

Love that build btw...

It was the diode window something was singed on the window I think it was a sliver of teflon tape. I cleaned it again and it looked alot better but still not perfect then I used a little rubbing alcohol on a q-tip.... now is perfect!
Thank you guys so much !!!

Aluminum! Its starts to warm up after a minute on....I use a minute 1/2 on 2 minutes off duty cycles
