Just had a look at the Jetlasers site.

New models PL-C Pro scheduled for release 5 December 2011 and PL-D Pro with new easier to use superswitch released 28 November 2011.

Specs. for both say Fan-forced air cooled.

With fan cooling a high quality and great product becomes even better!

If they contain an internal fan that permits a 100% duty cycle, these new models could be a Hercules killer!

True, but not so sure the claim of worlds's most powerful 532nm 100% accurate.
maybe it would be if you added 'that has a single DPSS AND continious duty.
Awesome none the less. Military already had a fanforced 532- Not sure what I was told about output. It was huge-& held two or three li-ions about the size of D batts. IIRC four 532 dpss.-I can ask.

The free shipping and quickly is super for the Holiday.

Forgive me haksaw1 -- not trying stealing any thunder.
Was excited to see the new models when having a look at the web site---and nobody had yet posted about them.

Looking forward to GB#7 in Jan. 2012 + new images and all details when same are available.

Would guess that there is no need for an on/off duty cycle with the fan- forced air cooling--no duty cycle mentioned on the web site, but could be wrong. Even an extended duty cycle would be a treat.

These new products sound really awesome.

I emailed Gray about the new Pro models and he told me that the techs will be working on a new design that permits a 100% duty cycle via TEC, not an internal fan.

Unfortunately he did not give me a time frame.

Interesting... From my understanding TEC doesn't really remove heat, but move it. Besides, adding another component that requires electrical power means you are adding more heat and additional power consumption. IMO forced air would be much more efficient than TEC.
