Don't have any builds yet capable of one nor any 26650 but it sure make you want to build one around one.

"Bottom Line: This iJoy cell's 40ah rating is exaggerated. This is incredibly frustrating because it's the first 30A 26650 I've ever tested and no exaggeration was needed! Why the hell do companies like iJoy still think they need to do this to sell batteries?

This is the first 26650 I've tested that acts like an 18650. Its internal resistance is lower than many of the good 18650's and it held its voltage well. At 30A/100W pulsed it ran approximately 75% longer, and 0.15V-0.20V higher, than the Basen and Brillipower 4500mAh cells down to 3.2V. It doesn't match the appearance of any other 26650 I have so I don't know where this cell came from. I am giving this cell a maximum vaping amps (MVA) rating of 40A but the voltage sag is getting pretty bad at this level."

The 18650 has more info online about the true manufacturer of the rewrapped cells. With 26650 it's not so clear. Once the new wrap goes on the cell it's all advertising. But we don't pull more than 10amps on our readily available diode and driver setups. I have a Spiker 465nm that only works with a longer cell such as keeppower cells. Does iJoy actually manufacturer these cells like Aspire does? Does it even matter in our hobbies scope?

You are right---none of the "vape" battery pulse Amp ratings(real or over stated)obsession means much, if anything, to our hobby --vape people are interested in a pulse of 5 seconds on/30 seconds off type tests for vaping purposes. The mAh ratings and continous duty parameters are more applicable to lasers.

Looks like i'll just stick to my first choice.....

The claim from the manufacturer of these batteries are they are that LG Chem makes these to particular spec. They are too short for my spiker.

These are the other brand I use KeepPower. These work with the spiker.

Just to show the size difference that makes it or breaks it.

Performance wise I do not notice any difference at all lol. I'm pulling 5amps max.

Like I said, I'm sticking to the Basen IMR 26650 4500mAh 40A, "it was one of the top five 26650's".

This cell's performance was at the bottom of the 26650's I tested. It's 20A rating is exaggerated and I gave it a 10A continuous (estimated) rating. Its long length of 67.6mm means some VF Stout users could have problems fitting this cell in their device.

However I use little digital volt meters on my long duty cycle NUBM44's and the Efest purple IMR 4200mAh is really tough, low sag and long lasting, the MXJO are not bad but not as tough as the Efest in my real world testing.

As you can see in this list there is more than one formulation of their IMR formulation, typically the higher mAh the more sag but these have all done well for me.

I can't wait till we have a diode and driver setup that needs 10+ amp batteries. Those nJoy batteries do look nice. If nJoy actually manufactures these then that's impressive. But for now ill stick with my 3500mah LG's and 5200mah KeepPowers.
