New green focusable laser

Hello im a laser n00b.
I have a dx red 200mw for burning and a ebay 100mw green.
The first is great for burn and light but the beam is not so bright (i know, red laser are not as bright as greenies), the second even though is from ebay, is not so bad, nice beam and bright, but the dot is too large, so i cant burn things withous a lens.
I would like to buy a green laser (about 100mw), whit focus lens. I have 150-170$.
Any suggestions?

Nova laser x-85 should be about 100mw or go with the x100 mine is 120mw seems like all x100's are abouit 120mw I own one its freaking bad A$$ soory I'll shut up now :-X


oh with a nova focus is not necessary -um whatcha trying to burn by the way :-?

can it burn at distance?

depends on the distance

maybe up to 4-5 feet depending on divergence

if you want to burn at a distance just go to the other end of the beam from the laser and take a nice powerful lens with you thats what I would do.

You could always buy the 200mW focusable one from Deal Extreme. Some people have reported it very good, some reported it underpowered. I guess it's hit or miss. I'm still waiting for my 50mW one to arrive.
