You are not very clear.... That is my first worry..
(DAoO used to do that)
What are you selling....
Where are the pictures of the EXACT thing you are Selling...
Are these already built or will they be built after you receive
the 10 payments...

IDK... something smells funny with all these Arctic Selling/GB
Threads...:undecided:

look in the OP for pictures of the item. I understand why you dont really trust me, probably because my rep and w/e. Im selling a replica of the Spyder Arctic III Laser, pretty much same build as the Spyder, just not made by WL. They will be built once I recieve 10 payments (minimum)

I can't see enough detail in those tiny pictures nor do I see
a Power Test on a calibrated LPM to warrant sending $260.00
to a new member with 60 posts and 1 Rep Power...

Who is building these Lasers....

This is a great idea :D

Although it might benefit you and your buyers more if the price was a tad lower :)

And yes, we ovbiously need proof of power etc etc

I will contact the supplier to see if they can LPM the lasers and will try to get more pictures. I am not building these lasers, they are.

@Lazererz I will see If I can get them cheaper

I don't like how the supplier is hush-hush...

Good form in a GB to say who you're buying from.

But this might be a group buy if we have enough. I dont currently have the lasers, but will when 10 people buy. The price will be $260 once we have 10 people buy. Or else it would be higher

No, a group buy is not something that should be making the organizer money. They are not an endeavor designed to be making people money.

Read this:

http://laserpointerforums.com/f55/what-group-buy-55810.html

In a GB, the buyers are taking a risk and should be rewarded by getting the lowest possible price.

You want your buyers to shoulder the risk like in a GB but give you a profit like in a standard 'for sale' type venture. That's not going to fly.

I am getting the lowest possible price.. The person running the Group Buy is generally rewarded for all of his work by either getting the "wholesale" price for himself as well, if the item is fairly expensive (i.e. $500 diodes), or by getting one or two of the items themselves for free (i.e. $20 sleds). I can buy a Spyder Replica myself. Its not like im getting $200. Im seeing the lowest possible price I can get...
