18650? That's a very odd choice for a laser. It's unnecessarily big, and a 123 would have worked better...

And of course, you never know if it's acually 50mW or not. It could very possibly be 30ish.

it seems the cr2/cr123 version with an extension tube........ right?... and the bush button is on the body(good)---.....and not at the end. it it is true 50.......could be a must buy. dx sell another 18650 laser 50mw at 56$

the other seems to be also overowered.. and used a good body/case. this one... could be good... because we have seen that the cr2 lasers sold at budgetga....and dx are well made....so.. if this is only tuned with 18650 and button on the body... and if the manifacturer is THE SAME.....should be a good 50mw

What's wrong with 18650? I like 18650, it's high capacity, and it's just WIN.

200mW from FP? Definately not true. I've seen their 200mW lasers, and they are not 200. ;D The DX laser looks like it could be good, though. I guess I just haven't liked LiIon batteries very much because you can't buy them in stores, plus my last one broke. :'(

This looks like it could make a fantastic host (albeit a bit expensive). Any non-US buyers want to buy one and open it up? You could probably sell the module for a pretty good price (maybe $15-20 if it's 30mW) and then use the host for a nice red, blu-ray, or high-power green.

If can fit cr123As without rattling it would be made for a 17670 cell, not a 18650 cell. :)
