Need some help/assistance.

Hey guys I wanted to either buy a blue 1Watt laser or buy a 1 watt 445nm driver and diode and solder them together. And then buy this: HighTechDealZ - 445nm 1W (1000mW) Blue Brand New Laser Diode

And solder them together, would that work out good? Or should I just buy a whole new laser completely? What do you guys think???

I think that you are not reading the forum

There are much better drivers and deals available from members herein for less $

It could work but you will have problems fitting it in a handheld host.
You could build it in a small hobby box. I suggest you read the following threads.
