Hi! first of all until now I only had low power/cheap lasers but now i want to upgrade to something more powerful.

wavelength

This is the thing where i have no clue, i think most popular values are 405nm and 650nm. But what really is this? more high value equals more power or less value more power? I seen videos when less wavelength lasers are brighter than others with more wavelength but i think it's because those lasers are green so maybe green lasers are brighter even if the wavelength is less? also green lasers are more expensive?

Safety

I'm now that i should away wear safety glasses to protect my eyes but i have a doubt, can i see the beam without protection?

sellers

Ok, it appears that for every thread saying that a company is good there's another saying the opposite, so i think buying a laser from someone in the forum will be a safer way to do it.

are any of this still selling lasers(I''m from USA):
ZeroLaser
ApexProxy
daguin
Jayrob
bloompyle
mhemling33

and who will you recommend.

Thank you guys for everything :)

Let me help you bud,

Wavelength:
Wavelength or "nm" refers to the color of a laser, the following common colors are listed below:
-405nm(Violet)
-445nm(Blue)
-473nm(Light-Blue)
-532nm(Green)
-589/593.5(Yellow/Amber)
-635nm(Light Red)
-650nm(Red)

If you are looking for a bright laser, get 532nm since this is located close to the human peak sensitivity(which is 555nm). Green lasers aren't too expensive but the higher powered units(500mW+) are pretty expensive. If you are looking for the BEST burning laser to $ ratio get 445nm(Blue). Those can be had in 1W+ powers for only a few hundred $'s which is more then enough for just someone looking to burn(Make sure to buy goggles)

Safety:
You won't be able to see the beam of a laser with goggles since they block the light(you might at best be able to see a small dot).

Not sure about the rest, so Im going to let someone else answer that for you :)

TheJoker301 (SciFi Lasers) is a good person to buy from. He's very helpful with any questions you may have and his prices are very reasonable
You can also purchase from Blord, I haven't personally but he's a trusted member and there are many good reviews from other members
