Hi everyone I am looking for a high power green laser probably 200mW to 300mW. I already own a 50mW green laser but the beam is not as visible as I thought on daylight so I am going for higher power one. Just wonder if any reputation company I can buy the laser from? I have around $300 to spend. Thanks all

Ben

Hi,
DTR- PLP520 B1 i built this diode into one of my Sinner CU Magic Pens. Throw that in one of Survival lasers hosts you'll have a nice build . And you will have plenty of money left over it won't break the bank

with that much money you can probably get yourself a 1000mw+ green laser lolz under the condition that you have to assemble all the part your self.......
get the NDG700 module from from DTR with Driver and lens: $210
Host from survival laser which is : $50
Batteries from LarryDFW: 2 x 18650 for $22 i think....

Thanks all for answering me.

I am not good at building a laser so I rather buy a complete one. laserbtb PL 532nm seem having a good safety features but I don't like the host. LAZEREZ RIFLE have good looking host and decent price which is now my first priority. Jetlasers definitely have the best looking host but it it little over my budget for a 300mW one.

Your one of the few who have a decent budget to start with so take your time and look because yes you have some good options. What do you want so much output for as it could make a difference to what type a laser is needed. Yes im being repetitive but does that budget include saftey glasses.

You mention seeing the beam in daylight.

You are not going to get a laser that has a full daylight outdoors visible beam for $300, if that is important to you.
You would need more than 1W of 532nm green for the beam to be visible.

Also consider you will need laser goggles to protect your eye ---a decent pair runs $50 and up.

I have spend a lot of time saving these money I don't mind spending a bit more cos I really love laser thing :yh:

GSS nailed it! I hope you plan on buying a decent pair of glasses
Yes I definitely will buy myself a pair of good goggles currently I m looking at eaglepair.

I understand the beam will not be too visible a full daylight but I want one with beam at least clear to see at indoor situation.

Geeker, try to look into some of the members builds here in the the Buy and Trade threads but remember they have the full right to not sell to those who dont they feel are ready. Just a little thought:)

@Encap

Even 2W's of 532nm wont work in daylight I don't think. The sun is bright, you need an extreme amount of power to see such a beam :(

My 300mW+ (although easily over 400mW) 532nm laser has a visible beam in a clear and well lit room, but definitely not outside. Extremely vivid beam in the dark. When the clouds are low, you can see the dot on the bottom of clouds :eg:
