Harold Edwards you are a master of your trade! These are the best looking hosts I've ever seen! They are absolutely perfect in every single way. They are, in my opinion, how a laser should look and be, in ascetics and in functionality. They're perfectly machined. The threads are so smooth that I can spin on the head and tail cap. The clicky is secured in with an epoxy resin and looks very neat and clean. The button feels solid and well made, not like the DX clickys. The diode is press fitted right into the head and there is alot of aluminum around it for sufficient cooling. The focusing ring is threaded so the lens can be screwed in and it lines up perfectly flush with the head. These were designed around the CR123a cells, one host holds two and the other is made for just one. In both cases you have about 3/4 of an inch from the + terminal of the battery to the base of the diode which is perfect for any driver. On top of all that, they came polished! But the most amazing thing was the price. $46 bucks each shipped for this quality of machining is astounding!

If I could change anything I wouldn't, they're literally perfect!

Nope, I'm still waiting on the Boostdrive from Dr. Lava and a LPC-815 sled from High Tech Deals. I'll post pics when I get em built. I can't wait!

What's LOC?

The short one is going to be a 6x 405nm with a boost drive.
The taller one that holds 2 CR123 cells is going to be a 660nm LPC-815 running off a Rkcstr driver.

LPC-815 is aka LOC (Long Open Can) diode.

I love the shorter one. Those smooth threads sound great. Also focusing ring looks great & threaded too. Thanks for writing this review.
Its getting harder & harder to resist a Ehgemus Host.
