Your phone picks up the colour great! :)
i KNOW!! ;D  I couldn't beleive how well it picked it up.  It doesn't pick it up at all with my red laser though.

IPHONE 3G ;D

No photo shop...I swear

FYI: The crystal clear picture was taken with a good digital camera. The other one (beam shots) was with my Phone.

Well, you just GOT TO let everyone know that you have an iPhone 3G, don't you?
Hehe, jk :P

Is that the Pocket Mini kit?
What diode did you use?

I also have an iphone.  It seems to pick up blu-ray better than any other wavelength.  Even with smoke mine picks up blu-ray better than a green/red.   :D :P

Sorry about the Iphone thing!! :)

No, that is not the Pocket Mini kit, but I do think it is the same host.  I had bought that flash light a while back and I just recently decided to turn it into a host.  I made my own heat sink and I used thermal glue (99% silver) to turn the whole thing into a heat sink.  So now I have a one piece modual/heat sink.  I will post more pictures today of what I am talking about.

Diode= phr-803t
Current= 135mA
mW = ????  (No way of testing it)

My next build will be the same thing, but I will be using a 6x blu-ray diode from a GGW-H20L sled.  I plan on getting rid of the thermal glue and just make everything with one piece of solid alluminum or maybe Copper.  I might sell the one piece heat sink, depending on how it works out for me. :)

Lol, i was kidding ;D
No worries ;)

That looks amazing - my home-made heatsink looked like an absolute pig! (Mainly because I had to sand out the cavity for the driver with a blunt dremel head!) My new blu-ray build will be using a nicely made heatsink (still home-made though) in a large pocket-sized host. Good luck finding the GGW-H20L - I've been searching for a long time. Check out http://www.laserpointerforums.com/forums/YaBB.pl?num=1236923606 for more info. If I ever find a few, I'll let you know.

Hey Iksor --
It would look better if you pushed the AixiZ module flush with the heatsink...

I know, but when you have it out just a little, it makes it much easier to adjust the focus.

It's all just personal preference.

Plus I didn't have any room left to move it further back. My next one will be flush though. :)
