I purchased a 200mW CNI 473nm laser from Lasershowparts.com to use in an RGB projector I am in the process of building and to my surprise I received a unit that is well over spec. I have measured its output to 300mW+ and it still has a little head room. Needless to say, I am one happy customer. This laser burns the crap out of stuff like a 300mW laser should, but the best feature of this laser is the beam visibility and color. I Love this color. Here are some beam shots and a video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WdRyLxndETM

And here are a few blu-ray diffractions.

That $6995 price is for the 200mW 457nm. I got the 473nm which was only $2295. That is in aus so it is like $2100 us

Oh stupid mistake on my part :D
$2295.00 is still a lot for a single laser.

Yeah the price tags on blue lasers are brutal. The price per mW is WAY better though with lab style vs hand held. For this reason I have never owned a blue pointer. I would rather buy a 50mW lab laser for $500 than a 2mW pointer.

It's probably some kind of argon laser.

That's awesome! :D What are the beam specs on it? And is the green module your 1W viasho? It compares nicely to it.At least on camera.
You're gonna get in trouble one day because of darklantz' outdoor requests :D :D

Yeah I think Darklandz is trying to get me put away so he can come steal my lasers while I'm in jail.

Wow thats awesome, particularly the blue outdoor pics.. I have a question though : on LGs site they put 457 nm lasers as highest output blue, so why isn't it less expensive than 473nms ?
