Hello all been away from the forum for awhile,life and other hobbies took over.So now I'm back to building I was looking for something out of the norm or steampunkish maybe so here is my latest project a 200mW(no LPM),3 element glass lens,405nm dubbed LASERvane.It was repurposed from a anemometer.It's a work in progress I still need to fabricate a grip of some sort plus attach 3-5mW reds from fasttech.I'm going to use 3 in a triangle for a sight.Those little things are pretty awesome ,I taped 3 together,wired them to a 5 volt 1 amp ps and ran them for 2 days.They got warm but that's all.There's ample room in the handle if I want active cooling for a larger LD.I appreciate any criticism.The case is my collection thus far(destroyed 3,gave 3 away).It may look lame but it pops balloons from 6 feet when focused and full batteries
