Sup,

I know I've been away for a while...but I'm back now! My job with the FDNY is Great. I have some time now for my hobbies..:D
When I was training I really had no time for myself.
Anyway I'm sure most of you guys know what the Audi day time running lights look like by now and I'm in love with them:drool:
So I decided to make a pair of nikes with some leds to resemble the Audi lights. I used a pressure switch in the heal of the sneaker to activate the leds
and they are powered by N size 12 volt battery.

Those would be good to lead people out of a burning
building filling with smoke... If they don't melt first...

No offence but I hope you don't seriously wear these out.

None taken, I most certainly do... I wear them when I run at night!
I actually sold a few pairs for $200 each pair, so I take it other people must like them as well.;)

I'm surprised there isn't more LED retrofit kits for runners... LED Hi-vis jacket, LED shoes, LED wristbands, LED headbands, shouldn't this be a big thing in the running market?

these are actually a great safety feature if you are jogging in the night

as these have been in put in kids shoes in the 90s and are well out of date, i can't think of any other situation they'd work in

vid would be nice

z0mg you should strobe those suckers! That would be sweet!

Or use high-power emitters so you can dance on sidewalks and have them light up (jam on!)
