My fried(?) blu ray output

so something went terribly wrong with my first blu ray a while ago. i got bored today and decided to play with it. its very weird. these pics are without a lense, just bare diode output. the dimmer center area is a very faint redish orange color

i tried my best to capture the center color with the camera but couldnt
