My first attempts at burning with a laser :)

Hi all

So yesterday I got my first "more powerful" laser pointer. Well actually it was my second one. The first one I got was last week, I took it apart as I wanted to see what was inside and it broke haha,my Mrs hates when I attempt DIY lol.

Anyway I had a few practice runs with the laser and then decided to make a video with it burning and lighting things. I must say I'm very impressed with it considering it only cost around £8.

It kind of makes me want to spend a little more money getting a better one

Welcome to the joy of direct energy, I will never get tired of it and much like a motorcycle or sports car you can never have too much power, your tires may be too small but never too much power. :eg:

You would love more power.

Don't trust ebay sellers who claim large numbers, if you want real power buy a module and drop it into a host, it's easy and lots of fun.

Even the very affordable humble M-140 is fun, safety glasses are a must.
