I finally receaved it yesterday.


Lasers Specs

Diode: A130
Drivers; Micro Boost
Lens used: 405-G-1
Jayrob Aurora Kit.


Edit: now have Ez Focus Adapter that i can take out on the go.
Peak is now 966mW
The lasers got broken because my ez focus adapter made the heatsink twist and wires did a short in there.




Camera Specs

Camera: Kodak Z740
Lens: 6.3 mm
(Max aperture f/2.8)
Exposure: Auto exposure, Program AE, 1/8 sec, f/2.8, ISO 140
Focus: Normal

As soon as you get some nightime there, make sure to take some beamshots, compare it to that evo pro and that other laser!

hi range how much did this cost and were from i was gonna order the artic but i have no idea whats going on with it would i be bale to build my own 445nm 800mw + for under $200?

Looks nice Range. Go outside and take some beam shots. Mine is still in transit from Italy. HIMNL9 made me a custom driver. Its a 140 diode, and driver is set to 1.4 Amps. It should be a burner. :eg:

Aurora uses an 18650 battery, a sweet kit from jayrob. -Glenn
I was reading a lot about that host and thought it was the same size as my p7. seem i was wrong.

There is a comparison between my MTE Ssc-p7 and this aurora in photo 3.

I'm just about done with a cheap prototype host and have alot of R/C stuff laying around so I didn't need batteries, soldering irons etc . . .

Screw this cute stuff -- I need confirming data on high end power for these 445 diodes. Heatsink, current, PO and temp.
Anyone here doing science?
I killed a 445 reading a momentary 1.5 WATTS.
