I'm eyeing off a hazer at the moment, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to have DMX or even volume control, just a simple timer.
So I'm wondering, what would it take to maybe convert it to variable output with DMX control? Would it be a simple case of using a VFD on the compressor to vary it's speed, or do they use a regulation valve or?
Basically what I'm asking is how hazers regulate their volume output, the oil based ones with compressors
Posting in this forum because I figure the people using proper hazers will be the lasershow bunch
