This is my first time soldering

I want to know if this can work but I still have not received the diode and I do not have test equipment.

so I don't know whether this working.

please see this and let me know that it will working well.

I know it suck but it is the first time since elementary school.

If you want the 1.1-1.5A range then it is good. make sure that all 4 the components touch the solder blob.

This one works for me....

Take a usual piece of wire and strip it to bare wire about 1 inch.

Pre-tin the wire with solder....a good even amount.

Put some solder paste on the newly tinned wire, lay it across your flex drive connections and touch the soldering iron tip to the wire, it will melt the solder to the connections, then all you have to do i snip the wire!:beer:

There is a thread with the info, if I can find it i'll post it here.

EDIT: Here ya go, I knew there was a video Mohrenberg made.....also he shows you how to set it with a test-load.
