I was in Wyoming when it erupted. I moved to Vancouver, WA by 1982 and had a bird's eye view from my patio door. I even went up there and had a look around. It looked like the surface of the moon; everything was gray. I've seen more videos of the eruption and first hand sight of the steam letting off of it than most people.
Another great video “The Greatest Lie Ever Told” I really like the way he equates belief in evolution to a religious belief. He calls it cognitive dissonance, think scripture calls it “willfully ignorant”
I'm sorry, you're right. Youtube videos are widely regarded as better sources than peer reviewed journals.
PEOPLE CAN READ YOUR MESSAGES HERE, BOBMC. Aren't you the least bit embarrassed by this drivel?? You're losing grip on reality.
I don't even understand how to respond. Maybe you should try to put yourself in our shoes... pretend for a moment you have some empathetic affinity with your fellow human. What would you say to someone that insists "The sum of four and seven is twelve"? Personally, my thought would be "Okay, well this guy is just bad at math. That's... okay I guess, lots of people are bad at math." HOWEVER, what if this individual ALSO insisted "all the mathematicians know it, and you'd know it to be true if you only did the research" and then he provided several links to internet videos of people that agree with him? How could you possibly address this individual? Where would you begin? Would you even waste your time?
One problem with the internet, is no matter how batshit crazy you are, you can find someone that agrees with you and is all too willing to participate in your asinine conspiracy theory circle jerk. It's a rather ironic side effect of having access to all of human knowledge.
You calling names once again does not make you right. Only the truth does. I stand by what I have written. Wish you would watch a few of the links I have posted and you might have a change of mind. They’re quite a few “PhD”s that agree with “young earth creationist” for you to say different is just you deceiving yourself.
What evidence would convince you?
Here’s a couple of articles on peer reviewed journals you might find interesting
