LPC-815 thoughts?

I have been looking around and this looks like a good one: LPC-815 650nm red laser diode in focusing module - $18.99 : Modwerx Shop

Has anyone used this diode b4 and has had any problems or had a good experience with them?
Any feedback would be great :thinking:

The LPC is one of the most used red diodes, just do some searching. It's a good diode.

Yeah it seems like a lot of people use it but I saw a thread that sed they had been having "bad luck" with them so I want to check.

They ARE a more fragile diode to handle and work with. Since the can is open, the die, the faucets, and the tiny wires from the pins to the die are also left open, available to damage by even touching them. But as far as current handling goes, they are probably the toughest red diode that we regularly use. Kendall is High tech dealz is a great source for them! Hes got top notch customer service!
