hello everybody,
I am working on a build using a lpc-815 diode from modwerx. When I finally hooked it up to the driver it instantly appeared to be a l.e.d.
I used a test load to set a rckstr driver to 350ma (triple checked) with 2 3.6 protected batteries linked in series. once I hooked up the diode for the first time, it looked like a big red dot and when I tried to focus it, it looked like a smaller big red dot. I think it is doubtful that it broke before I used it because the wires were soldered together the entire time.

Does any one have any advice of what I did wrong?

thanks

Did you short any output caps before connecting the diode? Not shorting the cap can kill the diode.
