Hi all,

I have a fixed target and moving laser setup in mind. What I want to do is fix a target to the floor, then setup a vertical rail which the laser moves on. The vertical rail is up to 30 meters long.

Distance measurement is not a requirement but would be a nice bell to add at some point.

Ambient temperatures would range from +10 to +55 degrees C.

I need the laser dot to be visible in full sunlight on the target at maximum 30 meters.

The target is made up of concentic circles marked in 10CM increments so I can take readings and make adjustments.

Can anyone advise me a suitable laser to look at?

Thanks

Green will look the brightest so therefor require the least power. I'd look into a 520nm diode.

^That's the most ridiculous thing I've heard all day.

Get a $1 red pointer and be done with it.

pics or it didnt happen.

Show me this sub 1$ red diode that's fully visible in full sunlight at 30 meters like the OP requires.
