Hello, i'm new.

I ordered a 4pack of cheap red lasers from dealextreme, which I want to use for a simple effect over the ceiling.

Only thing is that i'm not sure how to make it.

I want the lasers at one level, so they don't go up and down.

I just want them to move from the left to the right (lets say an angle of 160 degrees).

This is a paint I made for better explaination:

So how do I create this simple effect? I'm still waiting for the laser modules to arrive but I got 2 small motors with a mirror on it.

Thanks

So like a slowly scanning laser of a robot eye? Or a fast sweep so it looks like a flat cone? For the former, a servo with a mirror attached would work. For the latter, a spinning mirror (like a hex mirror on a motor, like this) would work.

You are not clear.... We need more detailed info...

1) do you want a single laser bean scanned from side to side...
2) do you want multiple lasers making a fan effect...
3) do you want a single laser line effect...

What is the purpose of the effect... how will it be used...

At first I was planning to use just one, but I ordered the 4 pack just to be sure if 1 wasn't srong enough.

What Bionic Badger sais: a flat cone scanning the ceiling.

I thought I could glue a flat mirror ontop of a motor so it stands up instead of it lays down on the motor?
