Looking for driver to drive Blue or Violet diode for purpose of Laser cutting.
One of my first candidates is -
2.5 Amp Adjustable Laser Diode Driver Kit, for UV ? Blue diodes, with International Power Adapter | J Tech Photonics, Inc.

I'm looking to drive 0.7-2W Laser Diode (Violet-Blue)
Leaning towards Violet, so may be 2W is overkill.

What do you guys think about mentioned driver, or may be you can suggest one, which can drive Violet laser with ability of TTL control / modulation , or at least ON/OFF

Thank you.

Well, you could pay 125$ for a driver like that, or you could pay 20$, or you could pay ~20$ for one of lzeerers drivers here. Depending on what driver you go with, you could power it with a 5v wall supply. Paying 125$ for a driver is ridiculous...

Update:

After dooing a lot of searching and actually using FlexiMod P3

I need to update my list of requirement:

I need switching mode laser driver which can take 24V and drive up to 4A and can be modulated with Analog/ PWM / TTL.

As much as I like FlexMod driver it heat up the room at 24V - such waste of energy and headache with heat dissipation :(

you're not trying to drive this from your stepper psu, are you?

'cause that would be silly.
