Lens for focusing 532nm...

I was looking for a lens to use with my green unit (soon to be units), and found this on Surplus Shed:

PRECISION BI-CX 21MM CLEAR DIA X 200MM FL CTD MTD - Surplus Shed

It's designed for 546.1nm (which I figure is close enough to 532nm for it to work well?) and is broadband AR coated.

Will this do the job of focusing a beam to a tiny point? If not, any suggestions? :thanks:

I'm not sure that is the ideal lens for focusing your green laser.

The long Focal Length of ~8" makes it difficult to hold at a precise point.

I like shorter FL lenses for the green lasers.

That lens is about 50% of the cost of the one you referenced.

I was planning on mounting this lens and using it with a lab unit - so both parts would be static. Does this change your evaluation?
