Lens fitting advice.

Hey, guys I found a pretty good lens for a project I'm working on HERE. I was looking to purchase the Aixiz 12 x 30mm Laser Module. I can't find any information regarding the threading of the modules though, and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction or provide some threading information.

Bill;

The Aixiz module takes a 9mm x 0.5mm thread lens housing.

One problem with the lens housing from Edmund,
is that it is only threaded half-way.

It will not go deep enough in the Aixiz housing.

Thanks for the reply! I've read a bunch of your detailed postings and appreciate your advice.

So perhaps I could cut down the threaded end of the Aixiz housing so the lens can be screwed all the way to the back or I could look for another lens. Any suggestions? I was interested in purchasing one of your lenses (for a 808 nm 1 watt diode), but I wasn't sure if it was possible to focus the beam to a 100 micron or smaller dot. I understand that if it were possible the dot would only be a few millimeters from the face of the lens, but that is not a concern for my application.
