Re: Problems with lazerer

Hello, on the 16th I ordered a laser module from lazerer and still have not recieved it yet.... I did not have an account on lazerer when I ordered it so I cannot check the status of it. So on the 26th I made an account on lazerer and ordered a laser with a power certificate and batteries well... It is still pending 3 days later :( so how long does lazerer usually take for orders? I am not a very patient person  . Also on a side note the items are still in the cart for some reason even though I already checked out and paypal has sent the money ... So yeah any help ?? Thanks :D
WOW... really? No one would have ever guessed.:na:

Did you pay extra for expedited shipping? If not you REALLY need to relax.

What is your location? You don't list it in profile, so is the laser being shipped to central africa, US, eu, or somewhere else?

Typically shipping from china to US takes between 2 and 4 weeks. Sometimes more, sometimes less.

I think you may want to relabel your post "Problems with Patience".

Your thread seems very premature and confrontational. If you're concerned about an order, always contact the company you bought from first. Have you done that?

Re: Problems with lazerer

Umm, the 16th was just a little over a week and a half ago. I've never, EVER received anything from China in less than 3 weeks.

Normal shipping from China, Brendon. It takes a while. "Just a bit longer than you'd expect", is how I'd put it. It's NOT like shipping from within your own country (not sure which one that is) - and, not even as fast as shipping between most western countries. I can order something from the UK to the US and sometimes I've gotten it in 4 days. China? No way. It just takes forever as it wanders from province to province and eventually ends up on a slow boat. Especially with "free" shipping; likely EMS.

The 26th was a Saturday even in China, and they take weekends off there, too. So it's only been a day or so of processing... I'd relax for the time being.

Also, perhaps write to Lazerer and see if they can find your shipping information for your original order -- did you try that yet? They might be able to find it. DO NOT DO IT ANGRILY. That won't get someone to go out of their way to help you on it. Again, your laser is probably "on a m*ther f***in boat" right now, as real as it gets.

I'm pretty sure you'll receive both units. It's not their fault neccesarily either. They don't control the shipping routes and companies.

Re: Problems with lazerer

I live in the US and I am not complaining as I have had far worse problems but I just wanted to know if this was normal. I ordered another laser from a different company months ago and am now battling for my money back on paypal... So i guess I am a bit paranoid and btw says here Shipping 7-14 days. I don't mind waiting just when you expect something to come and it's not there it's extremely disappointing :( Also If I was angry and I would have just contacted lazerer. WHY IS EVERYONE YELLING AT ME?????? I was just wondering how long it usually takes and if it's normal JEEZ CHILLAX . Also BTW I live on the east Coast so the damn boat arrives a few miles away.

Eh? I don't see where I was yelling at you, or even taking much of a firm tone with you in the post? I was just letting you know, it IS normal...

7-14 days, well, thats really optimistic. There might be a customs delay (which by the way does NOT mean your laser is being confiscated - it just means there's a backlog in customs) which is absolutely out of anyone's control.

If you're concerned with delivery times, it's really best to make sure you do get tracking. Then at least you could see when they shipped it. If they did ship it on time, and the courier/service is dragging their feet, that really *can't* be Lazerer's fault though.

I'm still pretty sure both of your lasers will arrive.

P.S., the 'damn boat' takes weeks to cross the ocean, even if it arrives a few miles away. And depending on the route, it could arrive in the Pacific, not the Atlantic. Really, Brendon, I think your expectations have to be adjusted just a touch here. A lot of us order stuff from China/HongKong,etc, all the time. 16th-29th is by no means out of the ordinary.

Re: Problems with lazerer

  • Normally the product will be despatched within 48 hours after the payment cleared.
  • The estimated delivery time is 7-14 days
  • We are NOT responsible for custom clearance delay.
So, reading over that... if it's been over 18 days, then go ahead and contact them.

The fastest I EVER got a package from china by ANY carrier was 6 days, and I paid extra for it. Normally it takes 2-3 weeks.

Your thread title is just misleading. Problem would be if 40 days passed and you still don't have what you ordered. Or you get the wrong order, or a defective order for example.

If at the 40 day mark, seller isn't responding to you... open a dispute. Paypal protection for non delivery actually does work well.

JEEZ CHILLAX . Also BTW I live on the east Coast so the damn boat arrives a few miles away.
You really need to take your own advice, no one is out to YELL at you.

Being on the east coast means nothing btw. Your package could still come through at different locations. Most likely it will go through new york customs, but what does it matter? Until an item crosses through customs it might as well be in the north pole with :san:

Wow.... you need to take a Chill Pill...
No one is YELLING at you...

The Laser Comes from China... It usually takes 3-4 week to get
items from China to Canada. I'm not sure if you know that China
is on the other side of the Globe from North America.

It has been 8 business days... and the Shipping time quoted is an
estimate only if the USA Customs don't hold it up...

Have you contacted Max at Lazerer on the status of your order...
Max can be trusted... A lot of members have purchased from him
including myself with no problems.

Re: Problems with lazerer

I made the mistake of going all crazy when I received my first purchase from Lazerer and thought things didn't add up, I regret not taking the time out to research or get in contact with people behind the scenes...

I hope Lazerer stays this good for the foreseeable future.

Re: Problems with lazerer

I did register the laser not the module though. I am not complaining about lazerer btw just asking a few questions. And I know China is on the other side of the world I am not stupid. I was just confused because I have ordered things from china before via ebay (well ordered from Hong Kong to be specific) and it usually arrived in 2 weeks. I don't mind if the laser module takes a while just I was using it as an estimate of when the laser would get here. I did not mean to offend any of you or insult Lazerer just as I said before
I am not a very patient person
I just hope the laser gets here before Christmas :san:

Re: Problems with lazerer

When I ordered my 400mW greenie at lazerer the company was still totally new and Max had a lot of time to write with me. After I ordered my Laser it was shipped the next day and arrived 10 day later.

This was while Max started his bussines.

Now Max is a quite busy guy. Recently I PM´d him and ordered a 150mW module at the same time. It took one week to be shipped and arrived after 11 days. Max answered to my PM right after the module arrived telling me also he is quite busy now.

Oh well and the orders you made will still be in your card, even if you already got them till you delete them there. It´s the history of your orders you made.

So don´t worry, just relax.

I´m still waiting for a few items I ordered 3 weeks ago comming from the USA.

It should get to you before Christmas.
Did you ever receive the "Order status: shipped" or "order status: processing" emails from them.?

NOPE lol been "processing" for 3 days (normal I guess because only 1 of those days was a business day) I got 1 email from them regarding the laser module "Thank you for your interest in LAZERER Electronic products. Your order has been received and will be processed once payment has been confirmed." thats ok though I just wish I registered it so I had a tracking number...

Re: Problems with lazerer

Well, the 'processing' will likely change soon. And, another thing to remember -- Perhaps a lot of other people have ordered from Lazerer recently, because THEY are trying to get stuff before Christmas too! So he may just be very busy.

I've heard pretty much all positives about Lazerer so far, and, while any company can screw up (See my latest rant about CNI...) it's best to afford them all chances before delcaring that.

I run my own business too and I know how tough backlog and stuff can be. The only time I'm going to get upset at a company is if they're outright dishonest. Even screwups are OK, so long as they're admitted to and fixed.

You know how it goes: "Fast, Cheap, Good -- pick two" ... It seems that Lazerer has been doing the last two pretty well, and as much as they can on the first... So in my book they're ahead of the game.

I will say though, if you "aren't a very patient person", and you must always have the "Fast" aspect, you may end up with some sacrifices on the "Cheap" or "Good". Some of us have sat for 6 months waiting for lasers on CNI group buys as they took their sweet time! They were great prices though, and good lasers! :)

If you want fast and good, try Laserglow. I really do like Laserglow, and I wish I could buy from them more often. One thing they aren't, though, is cheap!

Re: Problems with lazerer

This time I also didn´t recive the mails so checked the status by logging in. Max had some problems with his shop system on his server, so maybe the mails are not send anymore due to some changes.

There is still nothing to worry about. Now before christmas i may take a bit longer to arrive but it will arrive.

Re: Problems with lazerer

Good luck getting it fast. Usually I get items from china 1-2 weeks. I just ordered a 1w 445 and glasses from Lazerer yesterday so I hope it ships fast too.

I was thinking of buying a 5mw from Laserglow but then I decided it was not worth the money. If it had a solid gold button though... Thats one thing
