I recently joined LPF and started adding some more powerful lasers to my collection a 1.1W 445 and a 100 mw 532. So let me know what you think im pretty sure you guys will like what you see:yh:

I do use some smoke but its only because it makes a neat effect. These lasers need no help in showing their beam:yh: I even got my wife to help me take these pictures:beer:

I apologive if the qaulity is not great I took them on my Iphone 4 :D

I really like that last picture, how did you achieve what looks like a "liquid sky" effect?

Its actually pretty easy ;) you can create this type of effect by waving the laser beam perpendicaular to the camera through some smoke. The only hint is the smoke has to moving and hanging around. Its also one of my favorite pictures:beer:

Nice pics.... I can't wait im getting a arctic with the lenses here soon and will make a few of those liquid sky effects with the line and X lenses... it will be awesome

Did you use different types of smoke in the different pics?

Its all the same smoke just the time between the shots are different so it had time to settle and float around. I just like to use it because of the cool effects it creates.

Reading your sig, i also see no need to make your beams brighter than they actually are with smoke, if you want a better beam big build a more powerful laser:beer:

That was a really nice set of pictures especially the last one, good creativity, I may have to try that sometime!

:thanks: Im glad you like them! i tried to be a little different than just the same 445 or 532 beam going into space ;)
