I must agree... it looks freakin' awesome...
What makes it look awesome is that you can see the beam through
the gun barrel before the beam exits.... [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Good Job.... ;)

About 20 years ago I got crazy and built a "rifle". It uses a back pack with gell cell and fans to get the energy built up. I had to wind my transformer for the HV. Power is controled by switches on the rear of the gun.
When the trigger is pulled, 3.7 MW goes into 2 Xenon flash tubes -- the NdYag rod is about 6" x 1/4". I have no idea how much this whups out but it is a bunch.

Nice ! What makes it even more funny is using a Keg labeled "Tequila as a platform ;D ;D

How much smoke, or fog did you use ? And how many mw's is the module ?

the module is 30mW

as for the tequlia, beerbottles in the background, and smoke -> it was built after a heavy night of drinking and partying and smoking cigarettes. it was pretty foggy in the room ^^

Lol now I know what you meant Dave ;D

hey is that not Jeremy Clarkson :-?

the build looks really awesome ! I need to agree with laserbee here, the thing that makes it so cool is that you can see the beam going down the barrel before it exits 8-)
