laser pulsating switch or circuit

Does anyone know how or where to aquire the parts to build a pulsating circuit to quickly pulse off and on a laser then by-pass it for constant on laser beam. Please respond back.

This is an extremely simple and cheap TTL pulse generator. The pot and the resistor control the pulse width and frequency. It can be used to trigger a TTL modulation circuit, or can be adapted into a driver to allow pulsed/modulated operation..

You can get the parts necessary from RadioShack or equivalent, or on ebay.
