Is there anywhere I could buy cheap goggles for 400nm-550nm,
or could i just wear sunglasses or something, Thanks.

actually, wear sunglasses while using a laser is not really recommendable.

Its not $18 more, its $45 more. The link I provided is for 2 glasses, there is other auction of just one for $26.

Cheers

While the OP did request "cheap" goggles, I can't recommend anything other than professional goggles for the best protection. Sure other stuff might work (note the term "might") but for the very best protection across a very wide bandwidth of visible light you want truly professional eye protection.

Here's a link to some very excellent goggles, and at a fair price for the level of protection you get:

ARG - UV, Blu Ray, Argon, Blue, KTP Green Protection ARG - UV, Blu Ray, Argon, Blue, KTP Green Protection [NR-ARG-EN207] - $78.20

Im gunna put a Heads up for everyone, Ray Foss does sell Protective glasses but be warned that they arent very good. It does block the beam of a 1 watt 445 enough to be safe however when focused you can still feel that its a bit bright and the dot remains blue which tells a lot. when you shine the beam at the glasses a blue dot still passes through.. a lot dimmer but passes through none the less....

Im going to recomend the Dragon Laser goggles theyre really nice considering being only 20$ theyll block the beam completely and all youll see is a faint yellow dot.
