Laser pointer help

Hey all, I've recently purchased some of these 2 in 1 laser pointer, however I'm not sure which colour they are. The thing is could mine be modded and shine alot brighter? If so can anyone tell me how?

Is the 5mw visible in day light, also are you sure it can't be modded?

Well its slightly visible, and it *can* be modded, I modded mines by putting 20V through it , and it worked [sub]for a few seconds[/sub]

Yeah, first you find out which way the batteries go in, and then you attach the + from your 20V PSU to the + terminal where the batteries normaly go, and the - to the other, it might be case negative, then you get about 10mW of AWESOME BURNING laser [sub]for a few seconds[/sub]  It first it will only make brighter red, but when it goes POP! thats when it starts burning stuff [sub]cause its on fire [/sub] ;D ;D ;D

Rofl! But yea, it can be modded in a lot of ways : You can switch the led for a brighter one, or a different coloured one, like green, or even red, or blue!

Is there a way I can enhance the power from 5mw to anything bigger without buying anything and using any huge electrical supplies?

I don't understand how to make it brighter :S

You can't unless you don't mind frying it. If you want more power you need to buy more power.

That is an old story from back in the day. It may come again with the restrictions in Australia and the US now. However, for now, they are already turned up as much as they can be or they do not have a "pot."

o I'm UK by the way, when I get it ill try turnign the screw if it has one
