I had wanted to test the laser before I had soldered it to the batter contact to put in my host. So I had wires going from the negative side of the battery to go to the black lead coming from the driver and had the positive side to the red lead and it had worked perfectly fine and had found no flaws. So I then went to solder the red lead to the part on my battery contact that is labeled 'v+' and the black lead to the labeled part 'v-' and I was disappointed when it did not turn on. There is a chance that I could have put in the batteries incorrectly the first time but could this damage the driver inside the module?
