Laser:
Burning TopLaser 301 200mW Adjustable 532nm Laser Torch [TOPLASER 301] - $169.00 : Laserlands
Externals:
First off, the host they used seems VERY solid, from them threads, it looks like Anodized Alumium, and the threads are smooth turning, the switch on the back will turn if you try to over turn it too the off position, this leads me to think you can remove/replace it if need be, but, i dont want to test this. It came with a aperture cap that screws on nicely so you wont get the lens dirty, in the stock picture, its the nub on the left side. The focusing ring on the front turns smoothly, with very little metal on metal feeling, it also has some numbers on the side, but, i have yet to find out what these relate too. It takes one 18650. The switch on it is a momentary switch, clicks nicely.
Preformance:
Well, nothing at all to complain about! The beam in my brightly lit room is pretty visable, even from the side, and, after about 2-3 min of continued use, no heating up at all! This suprised me a little, but, the host is pretty big to though, not to big for you pocket, but, a bit longer and thicker than a lead light. And, this thing burns like crazy, instant smokeing of cardboard, rubber, ABS plastic, cloth, leather, and, anythingelse i can get my hands one . The glasses it came with block out all the light, i have done multiple test on differnt points of the glasses and i cant find a weak spot, and, they are pretty comfortable WITHOUT glasses, not so much with them on.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask, and no, i dont have a LPM, i will probally send it to dave.
