Key-switches

Anyone here know where i can get key operated switches? The kind you see on some of the higher end premade lasers, preferably as small as possible with flashlight style connections (with the case connected to one terminal)

All the "Key-operated switches" i can find are actually fingernail-operated switches that have questionable reviews. I'm building a 1W blue and, since my brother has a history of messing with my other lasers, it would be irresponsible to make this laser without a secure switch like this.

Put your brother up against the wall and tell him in no uncertain terms that if he messes with your lasers, he'll be risking other injuries besides his eyes.

That, or get him into building his own. He's clearly interested, so maybe get him up to speed on safety and show him how to do a basic build.

There are key switches all over google. Just type in "key switch" and then gander. Look for dimensions on the resulting sites and amp rating to figure out if it will be compatible with your build.
