Iv been a member of cpf and cpfm for many years now as flashlights are a huge hobby of mine as well. Iv always loved lasers but after some bad experiences i kinda backed out for awhile but now im back full steam :D Although my wallet does not seam as enthused ;)

I have a black 445nm 1.7w Tmag with 3 element lens,
Green anodized 501b 520nm 202mw with 3 element lens,
Sci fi lasers 501b 532nm 110mw,
I also have a 200mw Spartan that needs repair(i put the battery in wrong:cryyy:)
Last but not least i have 2 532nm ebay "overfeel" 301 lasers which are around 90mw.

When i received my 520nm i was shocked how awesome the divergence was on this thing so i took some pictures at 90 feet give or take a few feet. I had the lasers down on the porch shining up at a shed door right behind where i took this picture of my yard. First picture is my 1.7w mag with 3 element lens and my 520 with 3 element lens.
The other dot picture is if my 520nm and my sci fi lasers 532 at the best focus i could get which is not very good but i dont mind.

I also have this in the process of being assembled by Tmack with the new Oclaro 700mw 638nm diode so hopefully it will hit 1 watt :D

Oh i will i cant wait for this thing as the most powerful red laser iv ever used are the dolor store lasers lol

Iv been wondering how visible the beam will be on the 638nm. even though it has bad divergence i would think the thinker beam will make it appear nice and bright in the sky.

Nice lasers! Yeah the PLP520-B1 makes an incredibly small beam/dot for a multimode diode. One of the more impressive diodes specwise imo. I look forward to seeing pictures of this Oclaro beast.

Alex, very nice start to your collection. Tmack does great work and I have been lucky enough to call him friend and bounce some ideas off him several times. You will do fine here and make many friends, I am sure.
