Escher, don't sell this stuff. Save some money and get another head later. You will regret it.. I have always dreamed of an argon. Don't let it go that easy. Things happen. Give it a second thought ;)

You cant see the break - Its likely just a leak at a seam at the end of the tube / mirror joint.

Silvershot: I hear ya - Ive wanted an argon for a long time - before I even knew what they were...

Problem is - I sold a ton of stuff to get this... and I'm literally strapped... The wife about blew a gasket when I mentioned getting another replacement head...

I didnt even mention the optics mounts I had ordered from ebay...

I really jumped into this - But unless I can do Multiline, I just am not that interested... and Multiline heads arent cheap..

I cant even tell you how upsetting it is to *just* get the laser to lase, and while you are tweaking it, it dies with a High pitched squeal as it loses vacuum.. It literally broke my heart. It was so beautiful... for about 5 minutes.

I think hes right you should keep it and time and some research and you'll have your baby back, scraping will just make you buy it again later and kick your self for throwing it away for 100$

Well, if you choose to sell, pics would help :) I just bought myself a small 15mW bare tube and was looking for a way to get it running. Perhaps some of this stuff would help.

I'll keep it if Someone has a 25ML or 40ML head they will sell for no more than $150 shipped (usps priority). And at that I'll probably be sleeping on the couch.. ;)

... No longer for sale - Its morning and more level heads prevail.... I will give this another go.

Sorry for the unnecessary chatter - and thank you guys for beating some sense into my head.
