Inside shots of my 660nm

Just got my DSLR yesterday, i have never used one before in my life, i have zero photography training. So try not to laugh to hard if the pics suck And i am open to any tips you guys may have for taking better photos.

This is a survival laser 660nm, LPC-826 diode, 324mw with a G2 lens.

Not bad Rifter, 660nm beam shots can be difficult.

they are tough, I recommend glycerin fog, and taking pics at angles that are not perpendicular to the beam. I find a slight exposure can help. careful not to catch the glare from the aperture, always state conditions picture was taken in.

In my experience, 660nm is about as hard as 405nm

I was thinking of using fog/smoke but decided against it.

I really need a tripod.

Both those side beam shots were low iso long exposure(one was 15 seconds iso 100)

I use:

ISO 100
Shutter Speed: 30 seconds
Aperture: f/11- f/22

You did an awesome job on your white balance! The red truly looks like a 660nm laser should. +4 rep if I can.

keep it up and you'll be shooting like a pro in no time. the 660 looks a little on the orange side to me....
