I'm interested controlling a number of inexpensive laser modules as an in an addressable fashion using an Arduino or similar. Any easy tricks for making the lasers addressable?

Any suggestions for a wire with addressable 3V out lines spaced evenly along its length?

Maybe buy an inexpensive monochromatic addressable LED strip and solder connectors onto the LED contacts for the lasers? Can anyone recommend an inexpensive monochromatic strip that exposes contacts enough?

I like the idea. What are you thinking to build exactly?.

I can´t help you in the adressing issue, thought

Yes, I'll read up on the TLC5940, thanks! I honestly hadn't even considered greyscale, but that'd be cool.

I've built belt that projects lines onto the ground for burner events, raves, etc. I'm interested in adding some sequencing based effects such as a rotating triangle.
