I've decided to give two different brands of IMR 16340 "High Drain" batteries a try...
The first brand is AW and they have a big rep to live up to !
AW IMR 16340 3.7V 550mAh LiMN Battery Specifications :
Nominal Voltage : 3.7V
Capacity : 550mAh
Lowest Discharge Voltage : 2.50V
Standard Charge : CC/CV ( max. charging rate 0.6A )
Cycle Life : > 500 cycles
Max. continuous discharge rate : 8A
And the second brand is not such a big name.....
Exell IMR 16340HP 3.7V 600mAh LiMN Battery Specifications :
Nominal Voltage : 3.7V
Capacity : 600mAh
Lowest Discharge Voltage : not specified
Standard Charge : CC/CV ( 15 ~ 20C )
Cycle Life : > not specified
Max. continuous discharge rate : only specified as "High Drain"
When they get hear i'll do some very basic testing on them and see how they stack up against the "L'Cheapo" GTL LS16340 2800 mAh (not likely) 3.7 Li-ion batteries I'm using now.......
