my dx true 50mw is not of any use anymore, because it wont burn, but it is still amazing bright!! beam is about 60% visible in daytime with good batteries.

the true 50mw from there site is $54 . and u have to wait like a month just to get it, where u can get it in like 3-5 days

You could probably get a refund or replacement from dx but this isn't the way to deal with it.

i dont want to wait 2 weeks for it to get snt back, and then another 2 weeks to get back a new one, so im just going to sell it as is.
i think maybe someone who's good with lasers can fix? idk

You can't fix mode hopping, no one is going to buy this if it mode hops. :

it doesn't matter if it mode hops, you cant even tell it mode hops, but the laser is the same brightness as it was brand new, just wont burn thats all.

umm that is a shure sine of mode hopping and is very noticable when your trying to show off your 50$ laser to your friends...... u might get 10$ out of this laser if you lucky becaus its worth alsmot as much as a dx10

dude this this is friggin bright, u can only tell its mode hopping when trying to burn threw electrical tape, but it is still brighter than my friends dx true 30mw

are u blind? a new one is like 54$ and u have to wait a long time to get it, when this laser just wont burn anymore, it is almost 2x as bright as my friends dx true 30mw, even tho it wont burn, adn u cant even notice the mode hop, unless you have a Magnify glass.
