Identifying Sleds

How can I identify a sled from either a blue ray or DVD RW drive? I have obtained yet another broken disk drive from work and I am in teh process of disassembling it now but I have no idea what sled it is or what diode it will have.

I don't know what make the drive is as it doesn't say but it has Sony written on soem cables inside if that makes any difference.

Are you able the hook it up to the PC? Device Manager can tell what model the drive is.

There are hundreds of different sleds out there, but only a few are known.

The best DVD burner Diode is LOC and next Long Close Can.

No chance at hooking it up now, the sled is almost out of the drive.

Ok the sled has HOP-R100 written on it, cant find much info on that though.
