I have soldered Micro Flexdriver for set the ampere to 500mA-1.5A.

and wires were also soldered.

And after that I was in contact with the diode for the test.

However, the diode did not respond.:cryyy:
(The diode is a new one.)

This was my first soldering though.

but I thought I did it well....what the problem:thinking:

Overheating the board or what else?

What he is asking is did you power the driver and then connect the diode. If so you for sure have killed your diode and possibly the driver as well. Also if you are not using soldered connections to your diode you again have probably killed the diode.:cryyy:

Any loss of connection to the diode even for a microsecond will charge the cap and then discharge into the diode killing it.:yabbem:

if you have a constant current PSU you could try connecting it directly to the diode. Be Sure that it is off first :)
