I'm really becoming suspicious of the countless posts by relatively new members, that ask us to compare two or three "different pointers", the majority (if not the entirety) of which are from lazerer.com.

I don't know what you mean, if you don't want to give your opinion is OK, I don't usually post (not too much I can add to the forum) and I only post for some advice or to buy lasers (I bought a laser from another member some months ago).

I don't know if you have any trouble with lazerer, I'm just here for advice.

Thank you.

Of course, my suspicions are all circumstantial, and likely will always be, because it's tough to prove or show what anyone's motivation for posting is. Was XYZ post created by an employee? Was it created by a legitimate buyer who was offered something free for their post? Even DinoDirect will pay you $10 to $20 just for creating a product review thread on a forum. For every 25 replies, you get even more money. I tested this once. Several months AFTER I had already posted the review for my 808nm DD handheld, I found out about that DD program. I submitted the thread URL to DD for their review, and sure enough, they sent me a $20 credit. FTR, I've never done that since, and even in that case, I had posted the thread several months prior to finding out about that questionable program.

My point is, that there are many "questionable" marketing tactics that would be very difficult or impossible to detect. I think Lazerer.com is using one or many of them. Almost every time I see lazerer.com mentioned, my suspicions go up. It doesn't make sense that all of a sudden so many new members would be talking about them, to the exclusion of so many other competitors.

My belief, is that they're just slightly better spammers than what we're used to from cheap chinese gadget sites. Coupled with a few positive reviews from vets (who got their lasers discounted) and a few positive reviews from members (who didn't), and lazerer.com is maintaining just enough apparent credibility to avoid a lot of the "SPAM" allegations that their less marketing-savvy competitors would otherwise be facing.

YOU may or may not be.

But in aggregate, the number of posts almost identical to yours suggests to me a fairly conscious spam marketing effort on Lazerer's part. It doesn't pass the sniff test.

Here there are some videos I uploaded this week: http://laserpointerforums.com/f39/1-2-watt-copper-445nm-blue-lasers-cheap-139-99-a-63859-17.html
As you can see, that is the laser made by yobresal and that I bought from him here in the forum.

Also the pic of the green laser I finally broke trying to extract the electronic part.

As you can see, I am a noob, I can't repair my fucking láser and I buy lasers that you expert guys make. Is this enough proof for you ?

Then let me ask you another question?

Do you get any sort of benefit, discount, incentive or any sort of perk, whatsoever, as a result of posting this thread about lazerer.com ?

All of these "reviews" of lazerer.com products that have popped up out of nowhere recently, conform fairly closely to the same format..... know what that format is?

I DO!

It's the format that lazerer.com SUGGESTS that you write your review in, on a forum, in order for them to refund you 5% of your purchase price.

You can be sure that I don't get anything from lazerer. Before the lazerer pointers I saw a lot of another pointers from other sites. For example:

Laserglow Technologies - Handheld Lasers, Alignment Lasers and Lab / OEM Lasers

Green Handheld Laser --- 532nm Laser ----- Spartan Series Lasers :: Handheld Lasers :: Dragon Lasers

Green Handheld Laser --- 532nm Laser ----- Hulk Ultra Series Lasers :: Handheld Lasers :: Dragon Lasers

Dealextreme 300-500 mW green laser (I don't have here the link)

As you can see, most of these lasers are much more expensive than lazerer lasers (I'm talking about greens about 300-500 mW). Finally I found that 2 from lazerer that are about 200 € (I don't want to spend more that 300 €) and since I doubt between the 2 lasers I decided to ask here.

If you can suggest me another laser pointer in that range of power and price I will also appreciate very much.

Now here in Spain it's 2.30 AM so I'm going to sleep right now. See you tomorrow !

Okey, I don't want to be rude but I am getting tired of all that shit that you are writing. If you aren't going to help, get out my fucking thread and get you paranoia away.
As I said in my last post, I go to sleep.
