I need help from a pro on handheld green lasers

ok so i just made a 120 mW green laser and it is inside a 2 AAA housing. It requires <600mA and 3-3.6 volts. I plan on using rechargable batteries which are 1.2 volts each... Will it make it more dim? and are there 1.5 volt rechargable batteries?

OK so ... a pair of e2 cells will provide 3.4 volts at full charge. A current draw of under 600 mA isn't a problem. You can also consider a single rechargeable LiIon cell at 3.6 nominal volts but using "dummy" conductive spacer.
How did you make this green module? is it using your driver? Most modules similar to an O-like are rated for 3 volts.

I use digital camera rechargeable AA cells in my pointers without any noticeable difference.

The voltage drop from alkaline batteries will make the performances nearly identical.

How did you build that green? What driver are you using? We can't help much until you answer the questions. Your driver may be a buck driver, maybe a boost. What is the driver. What 808 pump are you using in your module? Drawing < 600 mA, I can't figure out your system.
